We who have known Christ and yet are not living passionately for Him are committing the grave error of using our freedom as an excuse and not as a reason.

Church Update
Sunday night was great!
I have been running a class for preachers and they had their first chance to go public! We did ‘Tag Team’ preaching. I asked three of them to preach for 5 mins and then I wrapped up the service.
Five people got right with Christ and there was a great sense of the Holy Ghost.
We had well over 70 people, our biggest night crowd yet!
I have included some of my nights preaching for you. Please feel free to download the podcast. You can get that at

God hates the sin and loves the sinner, that is the bottom line.
There is no conflict, there is no incompatibility. We shall never fully understand the depths of His love until we have a revelation of the depths of His hatred for sin.
As we water down sin.
As we make small it’s impact and nature, so do we diminish the love of God and the price He paid to eradicate the effects of sin and bi-pass it’s damnable consequences.
I Look Like Rudolf
So I got HIT last night.
I walked into a right cross.
I was fighting Steve again, he faked me with a left jab and switch hit me with a right jab.
CRACK.

It hurt like all get out!
It looks like one of those red noses clowns wear.
We won’t fight till Feb/March next year.
Which is great, I need about another 4 years to get ready!!
It is fun. I love trying to find my limits
Four Things I am asking the church to pray for this month
1. That God would show us favor - that everything we do, as a people would be blessed.
2. That He would be our backer, our champion in the coming months.
That all the projects we have going would bear much fruit.
3. That CLC would continue to grow as a house of reconciliation
between God and man.
4. That our High priest would be ever present.
The Wonder of Christ
Not all that we know is clearly understood.
I am always wary of people who set themselves up as experts in such fields as theology.
Computer code – yes.
The nature and character of God – no.
Why? Because no finite mind can hold the infinite.
I do not understand the fully concepts such as that of the resurrection and the born again experience, but when I look into the faces of the people I know. The drunkards, the gamblers, the fornicators, the pornographers, the blasphemers, all of who are now saints of God, I am simply bound to accept and believe, that which I do not fully understand. For there is no power under heaven great enough, outside of Christ, to account for such an amazing transformation of human life.
The business of the Christian Church is not merely to perpetuate the memory of Christ, but rather to manifest and mediate the power of Christ. The Church is His body, through which He works and acts. The bible claims that the church is supernatural and is itself a divine institution.
The claims Christ made were not simply that He was better than anyone else, it was something far greater, He claimed He was altogether different and unique. As for Christ so it is for the Church.
The Church is not called to comment with the world, wrestle with the world, engage the world in one sense, rather she is called to live above all that and lead the world. Does this mean that she is lofty and unattainable, arrogant and haughty?
